Refund Policy

1. The VoidCheck is free

The VoidCheck™ — our free 12-check solar contract analysis — is exactly that: free. No card is required to start it, and nothing is charged when we deliver it. If we determine we can win your cancellation, we'll offer you the $4,995 Cancellation Service. If we determine we can't, we tell you straight — no charge, no obligation.

2. The $4,995 Cancellation Service — 3-business-day full refund

If you engage the $4,995 Cancellation Service, you have 3 business days from the date of engagement to cancel and receive a 100% refund of anything you've paid — whether you paid in full or a partial installment. No questions asked.

3. Payment plan terms (1-to-5 monthly)

The Cancellation Service is offered at a flat $4,995 Cancellation Service total, with these payment options:

• 1× $4,995 — Pay in full at engagement
• 2× $2,498 — 2 monthly installments
• 3× $1,665 — 3 monthly installments
• 4× $1,249 — 4 monthly installments
• 5× $999 — 5 monthly installments (Klarna splits available at checkout)

Plans are not interest-bearing loans — the total is $4,995 Cancellation Service either way. Installments are processed via Stripe's built-in installment feature at checkout — you pick your split (2×, 3×, 4×, or 5×) and Stripe handles the monthly auto-billing on the same calendar day as your engagement.

If you cancel during your 3-business-day window, all installments already collected are refunded. If you stop paying installments after that window, we may pause case work until payment resumes, and any collected installments remain non-refundable.

4. Once case work has started — no refund

Once our case team has begun substantive work on your behalf, the $4,995 Cancellation Service fee (in full or partial) is non-refundable. "Case work started" means any of the following has occurred:

• We have sent the formal lender demand letter on your behalf;
• We have filed a CFPB, State AG, or state DFI/DBO complaint on your behalf;
• We have begun direct negotiation with your lender or installer;
• We have escalated your case to our attorney network for representation.

In practice, case work begins within 3–5 business days of engagement. The 3-business-day full-refund window (§2) exists precisely so you can change your mind before that.

6. How to request a refund

1. Email support@voidmysolar.com from the email on your account, as soon as possible;
2. Subject line: "Refund Request";
3. We confirm receipt within 1 business day and check the engagement date + whether case work has begun;
4. If within the 3-business-day window and case work has not started, refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

7. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of asking us for a refund, Stripe charges us a non-refundable dispute fee. Please email us first — chargebacks are slower, less effective, and may result in your case being paused until resolution.

8. What we don't refund for

• You didn't like the negotiated outcome (we deliver the service — the resolution depends on your case's facts and your lender's posture);
• You changed your mind after the 3-business-day window (§2);
• You wanted a specific dollar outcome we didn't guarantee (we don't guarantee any specific dollar figure — every case is different).

9. Disputes

Disputes about refunds are subject to the binding arbitration and class-action waiver provisions in our Terms of Service §12. Nothing in this policy waives your non-waivable rights under California consumer-protection law, including the 3-day cancellation right.
